Strawberry Key Lime Pie

Ingredients
- 1 Premade Pie Crust
- 3 Egg yolks
- 1 can condensed sweetened milk 14 oz
- 3 tablespoons key lime juice
- 1 tablespoon key lime juice separated
- 2-3 tablespoons strawberry jam
- 2-3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
- Whip cream
- Optional thin sliced almonds or crushed pecans
Instructions
- Pie Crust
- 1. Put pie crust in the oven at 400 degrees for 2 minutes.
- 2. Put Pie crust in the fridge to cool for 15 minutes.
- Pie Filling
- 1. Put 3 egg yolks in a bowl.
- 2. Add sweetened condensed milk.
- 3. Add 3 Tablespoons of key lime juice.
- 4. Whisk it all together until smooth and creamy.
- 5. Pour into cooled down pie shell.
- 6. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
- 7. Place on cooling rack for 15 minutes.
- 8. Put in the fridge for 1.5 hours to set.
- Strawberry ToppingÂ
- 1. 2 Tablespoons of strawberry jelly on top of the sliced fresh strawberries.
- 2. Add extra tablespoon of key lime juice to strawberry jelly mixture.
- 3. Mix it up.
- Build the Pie
- 1. Line the outside of the pie with whipped cream.
- 2. Spoon sliced strawberries in the middle of pie.
- 3. Optional sprinkle thin sliced almonds or crushed pecans on whipped cream.
