Pie Crust
1. Put pie crust in the oven at 400 degrees for 2 minutes.
2. Put Pie crust in the fridge to cool for 15 minutes.
Pie Filling
1. Put 3 egg yolks in a bowl.
2. Add sweetened condensed milk.
3. Add 3 Tablespoons of key lime juice.
4. Whisk it all together until smooth and creamy.
5. Pour into cooled down pie shell.
6. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
7. Place on cooling rack for 15 minutes.
8. Put in the fridge for 1.5 hours to set.
Strawberry ToppingĀ
1. 2 Tablespoons of strawberry jelly on top of the sliced fresh strawberries.
2. Add extra tablespoon of key lime juice to strawberry jelly mixture.
3. Mix it up.
Build the Pie
1. Line the outside of the pie with whipped cream.
2. Spoon sliced strawberries in the middle of pie.
3. Optional sprinkle thin sliced almonds or crushed pecans on whipped cream.
