Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup apple sauce Fork U Secret Ingredient
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 dash of vanilla

Instructions

  • 1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon and salt.
  • 2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, apple sauce, eggs, and melted butter.
  • 3. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients. Whisk together until just combined.
  • 4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
  • 5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet for each pancake. Cook until the edges begin to look dry and bubbles begin to form on the surface, about 2 minutes.
  • 6. Flip the pancakes and cook for another 2 minutes until golden brown.
  • 7. Serve with butter, syrup, or your favorite topping.
