Almond Crusted Chicken Cutlets

Ingredients
- 4 chicken cutlets
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2. Place the chicken cutlets in a baking dish.
- 3. In a food processor, pulse the slivered almonds until they’re finely chopped.
- 4. In a medium bowl, combine the almonds, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- 5. Spoon the almond mixture onto the chicken cutlets, pressing down lightly to make sure it sticks.
- 6. Drizzle the lemon juice over the chicken cutlets.
- 7. Bake the chicken for 20-25 minutes, or until it’s cooked through.
- 8. Sprinkle the fresh parsley over the chicken before serving.
