March 6th marks National Frozen Food Day, a day to celebrate the various and convenient frozen food options that are available in today’s world. Frozen food has come a long way over the years, and it is now easier than ever to prepare delicious meals for the entire family.
One of the best things about frozen food is its convenience. Whether you’re short on time or just don’t feel like cooking from scratch, frozen food provides a quick and easy option. No matter the occasion, there is something for everyone. Plus, with so many brands and options available, it is easy to find something that fits your dietary needs and tastes.

Fun Facts about Frozen Foods
· Frozen foods have been around for centuries, even before refrigeration and deep freezing technology was available. People used to preserve their food by freezing it in the snow and ice during the winter months.
· In 1930, the first commercial frozen food, a type of fish cake, was introduced in the United States. Then, in 1945, the first frozen TV dinner was introduced by the Swanson Company.
· Today, there are more than 12,000 frozen food products available in the United States, ranging from breakfast foods to desserts. Frozen foods are also a great way to reduce food waste, as they can be stored for longer periods of time without spoiling.

Apple crisp and apple betty are similar apple desserts. The main difference is in the crumble topping. Apple crisps use a flour and oat mixture, while apple Bettys use breadcrumbs. The topping for apple Bettys is layered throughout the fruit mixture before baking. This creates a crunchy effect.
