National Hamburger Day is a day to celebrate the hamburger, one of the most popular foods in the world. It is celebrated on May 28th every year. The hamburger has a long and interesting history. It is believed to have originated in the late 1800s in the United States. Hamburgers were first sold in a small restaurant in New Haven, Connecticut, and soon after they were sold in restaurants across the country.

Hamburgers are believed to have been invented in the late 1800s by a man named Charles “Hamburger Charlie” Nagreen. He created the hamburger at the Seymour Fair in Wisconsin, USA. He sold ground beef between two slices of bread, which became known as the hamburger.

The hamburger got its name from the city of Hamburg, Germany. It is believed that immigrants from that city brought the recipe to the United States. The name “hamburger” was first used in print in 1895 in the “Library of Work and Play: Home Economics”. It was used to describe a sandwich made of ground beef between two slices of bread.
