- ¾ cup of cocoa powder
- ¼ cup of your desired sweetener (experiment with different ones for interesting flavors)

2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed light-brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Gradually beat in the flour mixture until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
