National Pizza Party Day is an unofficial holiday celebrated every year, and it’s a day all about celebrating the delicious Italian dish. National Pizza Party Day was created to celebrate the worldwide popularity of pizza.

The name “pizza” comes from the Italian word “pizza”, which means “pie”. It’s believed that the dish originated in Naples, Italy in the 9th century, and over time, pizza evolved to include different types of toppings. Pizza was originally a street food and by the late 18th century, it had become a popular tourist attraction and was served at weddings. Over the years, pizza evolved to include different types of toppings, and it eventually made its way to the United States.

The first recorded pizza party is believed to have been held in Naples, Italy in 1889 to honor the visit of King Umberto I and Queen Margherita. The occasion was to honor the visit of King Umberto I and Queen Margherita of Italy. 

Pizza is a beloved food all over the world, and Americans alone consume approximately 3 billion pizzas each year. That’s an average of 46 slices per person! In the United Kingdom, for example, mushroom is the most popular topping. In France, the favorite topping is spinach, and in Japan, it’s squid. Other popular toppings around the world include olives, anchovies, and peppers.

Pepperoni Pizza Recipe

To make the pizza, preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Roll out the pizza dough onto a greased baking sheet and spread the tomato sauce over the dough. Sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan cheese over the sauce, and top with pepperoni slices. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
