1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg, and warm milk.
3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
4. Heat a few inches of oil in a large pot or deep fryer over medium heat.
5. Carefully drop spoonfuls of the dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, turning the doughnuts occasionally.
6. Remove the pączki from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
7. Dust the pączki with confectioners’ sugar. Serve warm
