Homemade Potato Chips

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2. Slice potatoes into very thin slices, about 1/8-inch thick.
  • 3. Place slices in a large bowl and add the oil, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  • 4. Spread slices onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • 5. Bake for 15 minutes, flip, and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until chips are crispy and golden brown.
